She's bloody, she’s sweet, she’s Evel Burdett! Based in Dorset, Evel has been published by Heroica, Feast Zine, Jawbone Journal, and more. In 2023, her collection of horror, feminist poetry was shortlisted for the Aryamati Poetry Pamphlet Prize. Evel runs creative writing workshops across Dorset and previously helped to create The Omniverse Poetry Trail. Her self-published zine titled Evel’s holy guide to obsession, devotion, and being your most deluded, hottest self explores themes of infatuation and heartbreak. She likes to write about love in all its many forms. Especially the weird ones.
